Current Initiatives and Strategic Plans
Data Sharing and Management
ORED partners with the University of Nebraska system, University Libraries and other units to develop and maintain tools and resources for collecting, preserving and sharing data related to research.
How Do I …
- Make a data management and sharing plan?
- Get advice on developing my plan?
- Develop a budget to store my data?
- Work with data involving human subjects?
- Manage personally identifiable information in research data?
- Learn about federal policies and procedures regarding data management and sharing?
University Libraries, in consultation with ORED and campus partners, has a comprehensive online resource that addresses these questions and many other topics in this area. Nebraska researchers are encouraged to bookmark the Research Data Management and Sharing webpage and contact the unit best positioned to offer guidance. The University Libraries’ research data team also offers consultations on data management and sharing plans.
