Project Verification Statement Training

The Project Verification is a project-based methodology (PARs was employee-based) which focuses on a system of internal controls. These controls involve the amount and type of documentation required to support salary, wage and benefit charges to federal awards. Rather than one report generated for each employee, PVS generates one report for each project which lists all employees assigned to it. This decreases the number of items faculty need to review.

Any department contact and/or faculty member who have Federal/Federal Pass-Thru and/or cost share on a sponsored project should attend one of the sessions listed below. The content for the course varies depending on your role; department contacts should attend any of the sessions with the exception of those that are specifically for principal investigators. PIs should attend one of the sessions designated for them.
