The Nebraska Research Enterprise Apprenticeship Program (NREAP) is a two year apprenticeship-to-career experience that provides undergraduate students foundational knowledge, hands-on work experience, soft skills cultivation, and job placement coaching across the research enterprise spectrum — project management, sponsored programs, research communications, research compliance (including animal care), proposal development, and research finance.

Applications are due by Sunday, March 2.
Interviews will be the week of March 10.
Eligibility
Eligible students will be enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the Fall 2025 semester, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and are not plan on graduating until at least May 2026. While this program was originally intended for students starting their junior year, but we are accepting applications from all undergraduate student levels as long as they meet the previously mentioned eligibility requirements.
