June 23 webinar to cover NU Connections’ assistance for businesses
A June 23 webinar will provide insight into how businesses can collaborate with University of Nebraska experts.
The webinar, from noon-1 p.m., is sponsored by NU Connections, an economic development initiative that helps businesses connect with resources available on each campus. The event is free to Nebraska professionals but registration is required.
Ryan Anderson, director of industry relations at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and UNL industry liaison for NU Connections, said, “The university has so much to offer, from research partners to scientific instrumentation, and vast field assets. Tapping into these resources can help move your business further, faster. We can help you get connected to the expertise you need to overcome barriers, pursue new technology directions and support your company’s innovation and growth.”
The webinar will include discussion of examples of how NU Connections supports Nebraska businesses. It also will cover grant funding available through the initiative. Projects in their first phase can receive up to $100,000 in matching grant funding and up to $400,000 for projects closer to commercialization.
