Scarlet Hotel is open to serve Huskers

Nebraska’s Scarlet Hotel is open for business.

Located at Nebraska Innovation Campus, the 154-room Marriott Tribute hotel is home to The Good Life Coffee Shop; the Well & Good, the hotel’s signature restaurant; and the Barred Owl, the rooftop bar with incredible views of Lincoln. The hotel’s restaurant, bar and coffee shop are open to the public and feature Nebraska-inspired cuisine and drinks.

“We are thrilled to welcome the University of Nebraska–Lincoln community and the local Lincoln community to experience The Scarlet Hotel,” said Mark Mitchell, general manager of the hotel. “We are confident that this unique hotel and its amenities are an asset to the city and state as guests from all over the world experience the best of Nebraska when they experience the hotel.”

The Good Life Coffee Shop is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and features a signature blend coffee, called The Scarlet, designed in partnership with The Mill Coffee & Tea. Visitors are also able to purchase breakfast items, sandwiches, Dairy Store ice cream and locally sourced products in the café and market area.

The Well & Good restaurant is currently open for dinner service only from 5 to 10 p.m. daily. The restaurant’s town-to-campus concept offers an upscale rustic farm fresh fare. The menu highlights staples of Nebraska diners and steakhouses — all served with Midwest hospitality.

The Barred Owl will open its doors April 21 for drink service only from 4 to 11 p.m., Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Located on the sixth floor of the hotel, The Barred Owl provides stunning views of downtown Lincoln paired with signature cocktails.

Dan Duncan, NIC executive director, noted that the hotel is an exciting addition to Nebraska Innovation Campus.

“The amenities that this hotel is providing to the campus, including additional food and drink options, helps NIC continue to develop into a place where companies, employees and the community want to be,” said Duncan.
