University of Nebraska-Lincoln research personnel are reminded to use the web resource that provides guidance on how to comply with National Security Presidential Memorandum-33, the purpose of which is to safeguard federally funded research.
The NSPM-33 webpage includes information about the policy, resources and implementation plans.
A training opportunity will be announced soon. Timely completion of the NSPM-33 training will be necessary to meet federal funding requirements. If training is not completed, proposals will not be eligible for submission.
Federal agencies issued finalized guidance on NSPM-33 in July 2024. Agencies began rolling out updated proposal solicitations in spring 2025. Additional information is available in Research News articles published on June 2 and Feb. 3.
