Researchers collaborate to target antibiotic-resistant bacteria

With a four-year, $1.2 million grant from the USDA’s Agriculture and Food Research Initiative, a Husker team, led by Nebraska engineer Xu Li, is developing new manure management practices to reduce the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria through livestock wastes.
