The campus community is invited to attend an announcement and celebration of a $4.5 million grant from the Department of Defense to fund research focused on using DNA nanotechnology to assemble graphene electronics. The event is at 2 p.m. in the Nebraska Union, 1400 R St., Heritage Room. Featured speakers include Chancellor Ronnie Green; Bob Wilhelm, vice chancellor for research and economic development; and Alex Sinitskii, associate professor of chemistry and leader of the interdisciplinary, multi-institutional team.
