Celebration wraps up Research Fair
The UNL Research Fair wraps up today with A Celebration of the Voelte-Keegan Nanoscience Research Center. Officials from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which helped fund the building through a $6.9 million competitive grant, will speak at the 10:45 a.m. event in the Nebraska Union Colonial Room. Lloyd Whitman, deputy director of NIST’s Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology, will present “Thinking Big about Small Things: Nanotechnology and NIST.” Stella Fiotes, chief facilities management officer, also will give remarks.
