The Office of Research and Innovation invites faculty to submit information for the 2025-26 Research and Creative Activity Report.
Faculty can submit at this site. The deadline is Sept. 14 at 5 p.m.
The annual report documents Nebraska faculty’s successes in research, creative endeavors and scholarship. This year’s compilation, which will be published online, covers the period between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. The purpose of the report is to provide a record of faculty achievements and highlight the depth and breadth of activities across all disciplines.
The report will be published during Nebraska Research Days in the fall, Nov. 9-13.
The five categories for submission are:
- Published books and book chapters that were peer-reviewed or that qualify as scholarship in a discipline.
- Competitive national or international honors, recognitions or awards.
- Products of creative activity, including works of fine or performing arts; literary arts; television and film; architecture/design; or digital creativity, including mobile apps or software.
- Research articles published in a scholarly journal or publication. Submissions must be from peer-reviewed publications or, for disciplines that don’t employ peer review, a publication considered scholarly in that field.
- Research presentations given at conferences.
In addition to these self-reported categories, the report also includes information about major grants and sponsored awards, compiled through NuRamp; patents and licensing agreements; and students and mentors participating in the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience (UCARE) and the First-Year Research Experience (FYRE) programs.
