Effective Jan. 5, Data Transfer and Use Agreement and Material Transfer Agreement requests must be made in the NuRamp Agreements module. The previous DocuSign intake forms have been retired.
A DTUA or MTA is required when data or tangible materials are shared between UNL and external parties. These agreements are binding contracts that define the terms and conditions of the transfer, including limitations on use, storage requirements, publication rights, intellectual property considerations, and privacy or confidentiality protections.
The DTUA/MTA information on the Sponsored Programs website has been updated to reflect the new process. If you have submitted a DTUA/MTA request via the DocuSign intake forms, you do not need to submit a new request in NuRamp unless directed to by a Sponsored Programs staff member.
For questions about DTUAs or MTAs, contact unlospawards@unl.edu.
For compliance questions, contact Research Compliance, Integrity and Security.
For technical issues with the form in NuRamp, contact NuRamp support.
