The Nebraska Department of Economic Development and University of Nebraska are collaborating on an educational webinar for all NU campuses to outline funding opportunities for collaborations between public colleges and universities and businesses.

The free webinar is scheduled from 2-3 p.m. April 30.

Nebraska DED administers several funding programs for Nebraska businesses that help pay for research and development collaborations with public colleges and universities in the state, match federal Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer awards and help fund prototyping and commercialization of new products.

The webinar will provide an overview and update on those programs.

Presenters will include Ryan Anderson, director of UNL’s Industry Relations and NU Connections industry liaison officer; Ben Kuspa and Nisha Avey, DED business innovation consultants; and Sara Bennett, NU Connections industry liaison officer and associate director of the Nebraska Business Development Center.

More information is available from NBDC. Preregistration is required.
