The spring sessions of Research Administration Essentials, the training program formerly known as NURAMP, are scheduled for March 4-April 15. This training series will provide tools and resources to Nebraska faculty and staff who are involved with research administration.

Detailed information, dates and registration information are available on the program’s website. The series will run for seven weeks, with the in-person sessions scheduled for Wednesdays at 1 p.m. in Room 152 of the Paul Research Center, 2200 Vine St.

Sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development, the Research Administration Essentials workshops cover a range of topics, including proposal preparation and submission, award administration and proposal budget development. Other topics include effort reporting, managing contracts and cost sharing.

Nebraska’s research community also has access to an online e-learning library, which features short, self-directed learning modules on topics such as ORED’s services and resources, data management plans, and the FastLane and ASSIST platforms used by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, respectively.

Workshops are open to all university faculty, postdoctoral associates, graduate students and staff engaged in research or supporting research activities. For more information contact Laurie Sampson, learning and development coordinator, 402-472-3136.
