The Office of Research and Economic Development invites applications for its 2022-2023 Research Development Fellows Program, an eight-month program for full-time UNL faculty at the assistant-level rank. RDFP is designed to help early career faculty obtain the information, resources and approaches necessary to position themselves for success in securing external funding for their research, scholarship and creative activity. Sept. 23 is the application deadline.
RDFP participants will graduate from the program with an intentional plan for pursuing external funding and strategies that prepare them to write winning proposals. In addition, each fellow is awarded travel funds to visit with program officers at sponsor agencies whose missions align with their work.
More than 250 fellows from all UNL colleges have completed the program. Positive participant feedback, coupled with past fellows’ external research funding successes, affirm the RDFP’s value.
