The National Science Foundation recently issued a revised version of the NSF Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (NSF 19-1), effective for proposals submitted or due on or after Jan. 28, 2019.

The agency is hosting a Nov. 27 webinar at 1 p.m. CST to outline the significant changes and clarifications to the guide. Researchers can register online for the session.

The revised guide’s introduction includes a by-chapter summary of changes, which include implementation of NSF’s sexual harassment policy, incorporation of patent policy and addition of Research.gov as an avenue for preparing, submitting and updating proposals, among others.

The PAPPG is NSF’s central document setting guidelines for proposal preparation and submission, award management and grants administration.
