The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and the Office of Research and Innovation will offer a new program to support mid-career faculty, starting Feb. 19. The program is built for associate professors, associate professors of practice and research associate professors.
This program is designed to inspire and empower established faculty to grow their impact in research, creative endeavors, teaching, service, and extension/community engagement — all while building a pathway to promotion.
The spring 2026 program will include three 90-minute, in-person workshops. All workshops will be held in the Nebraska Union, Platte River South. Registration is open. Sessions include:
- “Grow Your Passion, Fuel Your Goals”: Feb. 19, 2-3:30 p.m. Recenter your passion and strengths in the next stage of your career.
- “Set Your Goals, Plan Your Path”: March 26, 2-3:30 p.m. Set inspiring five-year goals that reflect your strengths, values and identity as a scholar and the mission of your unit.
- “Gather Your Team, Find Your Support”: April 9, 2-3:30 p.m. Identify the people and opportunities that will offer you the insight, resources, and support needed to succeed along your path.
