The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will adopt new operational changes effective June 1. While the limits on access to campus buildings will be relaxed, employees are encouraged to continue working remotely if possible.

Chancellor Ronnie Green outlined the changes in a May 21 email. The impact of the changes on research and creative activity are summarized on the research planning website.

The Research Task Force has developed guidelines for reopening research and creative activity spaces and a laboratory/creative space reopening plan and checklist for faculty and staff.

The latest changes will be in effect until June 30. University leaders will assess the situation later in the month to determine how best to proceed after that date.
