Deadlines for the 2024 Grand Challenges Catalyst Competition are approaching.

Late NOIs and proposals will not be accepted, so faculty are urged to plan ahead to ensure on-time submission. Download the 2024 request for proposals.

To help faculty prepare for these upcoming deadlines, the Office of Research and Economic Development will host an open office hour on Feb. 15 from 10-11 a.m., via Zoom. Rick Bevins, associate vice chancellor for research, and Nathan Meier, assistant vice chancellor for research development, will be available to answer questions about the NOIs and proposal requirements. Interested participants must register to receive the link.

ORED also is seeking faculty volunteers to serve as peer reviewers of planning grant proposals submitted in 2024. Reviewers are needed from every discipline and all faculty ranks. Information about eligibility and how to nominate a reviewer or apply to serve in this capacity is posted online. April 12 is the deadline for volunteering to serve as a reviewer.
