Research personnel are reminded to complete Responsible Conduct of Research training in Bridge. The RCR training fulfills several federal training requirements, including National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 (NSPM-33) research security training and responsible conduct of research training. Personnel are encouraged to complete the training as soon as possible and check the deadlines associated with each funding source.
UNL’s NSPM-33 webpage includes information about federal sponsors’ expectations and deadlines. If training is not completed by the stipulated deadlines, federal proposals and awards will not move forward. Investigators who have current funding or anticipate submitting a proposal to the National Science Foundation or the U.S. Department of Defense must complete RCR training on or before Oct. 10.
