The Center on Children, Families and the Law has received a $12 million award to prepare newly hired child welfare professionals for their jobs strengthening Nebraska families and protecting children. The campus community is invited to attend a celebration at 11 a.m. in the Visitors Center, 313 N. 13th St. Speakers are Chancellor Ronnie Green; Steve Goddard, interim vice chancellor for research and economic development; and Eve Brank, center director and associate professor of psychology.
