University of Nebraska-Lincoln research personnel are reminded that Responsible Conduct of Research training, which includes a research security component, is required on an annual basis.
Both the original two-hour training and the 45-minute refresher course are available in Bridge. Once the original training is completed, the Bridge system will send reminders to users who need to complete the refresher, which is based on when they completed the original training.
Federal funding agencies require the annual training course, along with certification that individuals have completed this training in the 12 months prior to a proposal submission. Sponsored Programs staff cannot process proposals or awards until all research personnel have completed the training and are up to date on these requirements.
Two websites include additional information about the requirements and how research personnel can view and access training.
