The Office of Research and Economic Development is seeking applications for an internal funding opportunity.
The deadline to apply to the Research Council: Visiting Scholar, Distinguished Lecturer and Symposia grant program is March 11. The request for applications is available at the Internal Funding Opportunities site.
The program provides funding for scholars to come to the university and engage Nebraska’s research community through lectures, symposia and other events. The March competition will fund scholars who visit between July 1 and Dec. 31. The Research Council offers up to $800 in funding to support visiting scholars and up to $3,000 for symposia and distinguished lecturers. Applications must be fully routed in NuRamp by 5 p.m. March 11.
