March 22 is the start date for the spring 2018 NURAMP series, a comprehensive education program focused on research administration management. Detailed information, dates and registration information are available on the NURAMP website.
The in-person sessions will be in Room 152 on the first floor of the Paul Research Center, 2200 Vine St.
Sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development, the NURAMP workshops cover a range of topics, including proposal preparation and submission, award administration, proposal budget development and the responsible conduct of research.
Other topics include effort reporting, managing contracts, cost sharing and communicating research to the public.
Nebraska’s research community also has access to NURAMP’s online e-Library, which features short, self-directed learning modules on topics such as ORED’s services and resources, data management plans, and the FastLane and ASSIST platforms used by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, respectively.
NUgrant Basics workshops, which focus on using NUgrant to route proposals internally and file Institutional Review Board protocols, are offered March 20 and April 19.
Workshops are open to all university faculty, postdoctoral associates, graduate students and staff engaged in research or supporting research activities.
