The Office of Research and Economic Development is sponsoring an internal competition to select the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s applicants for the National Endowment for the Humanities’ upcoming Summer Stipends program. Universities may nominate up to two faculty members to apply for this program. Those interested in applying should complete an online notification of intent to submit to ORED by 5 p.m. CDT June 19.
The NEH Summer Stipends program provides two months of continuous and full-time support for scholars to conduct research in the humanities. The research projects typically result in scholarly resources such as books, monographs, articles, digital materials and publications, editions, translations, or archaeological site reports, and intended audiences may be the general public, humanities scholars, or both. Applications are due to NEH on Sept. 27.
Visit ORED’s limited submissions website for additional information about UNL’s internal competition process and to submit a notification of intent to submit for the NEH Summer Stipends program.
