The NURAMP (Research Administration Management Program) workshop series will be offered again in spring 2017, starting March 14. Dates, details and registration information about these free workshops are available on the NURAMP website.

Workshops will be in Room 152 on the first floor of the Prem S. Paul Research Center at Whittier School, 2200 Vine St.

NURAMP is a comprehensive education program focusing on research administration management sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development.

Basic workshop topics include strategies for working with the Offices of Sponsored Programs and Proposal Development to prepare and submit proposals, developing proposal budgets, conducting research responsibly and administering awards. Additional sessions address effort reporting, managing contracts and communicating with the public about research.

NURAMP’s online e-Library also offers several short, self-directed learning modules on additional topics, including an introduction to utilizing research resources, creating data management plans and using NSF FastLane or NIH ASSIST to submit proposals electronically.

NUgrant Basics workshops, offered Feb. 28, March 28 and April 25, focus on using NUgrant for routing proposals internally and for filing IRB protocols.

Workshops are open to all UNL faculty, postdocs, graduate students and staff engaged in research or supporting research activities.
