Faculty interested in the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program are invited to attend a Feb. 19 virtual information session from 2:30-3:30 p.m. CST. Registration is required.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is the nation’s premiere international research and cultural exchange program, enabling U.S. citizens to teach, conduct research and pursue professional projects around the world. More than 800 awards are made annually that take scholars to over 135 countries around the world.

During the event, Fulbright program staff will discuss award opportunities, describe the application and selection process, and answer questions. A panel of Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program alums will speak about their experiences.

This virtual event is produced as part of a research development collaboration between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Idaho, Montana State University, Utah State University and the University of Nevada, Reno.

For more information contact Heather Borck, research development program coordinator in the Office of Research and Innovation.

Please note: Location and eligibility vary across all awards, and some awards may be restricted to certain career levels or types of scholars. The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is distinct from the Fulbright Student Program.
