Virtual session focused on Fulbright program slated for March 29

The Council for the International Exchange of Scholars is offering a March 29 informational session focused on the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty interested in applying to the Fulbright Program are invited to attend the Zoom event, set for 1-2 p.m.

Register here for the session, which will be led by Peter VanDerwater, head of outreach and recruitment for the Fulbright Program at the Institute of International Education.

The Fulbright Program is the United States government’s flagship international educational and cultural exchange program. The global network of Fulbright scholars fosters mutual understanding between the United States and over 160 partner countries, advances knowledge across communities and improves lives around the globe. Each year, the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program provides approximately 800 grants in more than 130 countries to support teaching and research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.
