Research Compliance Services has updated its consent form templates, which are available to human subjects researchers on the Institutional Review Board website.
These updated templates provide additional guidance and suggested language for standard descriptions related to data sharing, payment procedures, payment documentation, research alternatives and use of private information. For researchers who are using or circulating a previously approved consent form as a template, RCS recommends reviewing the updates or discarding previous form drafts for future new project submissions, as applicable.
