UIDP annual meeting available at no cost to faculty, staff

The UIDP professional organization is hosting its annual conference April 12-16, aimed at building partnerships between universities and industry. Through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s institutional membership, faculty and staff may attend the virtual event for free.

Participants can attend the full conference or choose individual sessions that interest them. A full schedule is posted online. Speakers include national thought leaders from academic and corporate practitioners. Session topics are strategic university-industry partnerships, contracting and administration, talent and workforce, and triple helix matters. Panels, breakout sessions and general-interest sessions include topics ranging from engaging students in research, partnering during a global health emergency, advancing scientific breakthroughs via academic collaborations and more. Virtual rooms will be available for networking.
