Information sessions for the 2025 Engineering Pitch Competition are scheduled for March 13-14.
An in-person information session is from noon-1 p.m. March 13 in room A512 of Kiewit Hall. A virtual session is planned at the same time March 14.
The pitch competition is April 1, 4:30-7:30 p.m., in room A211 of Kiewit Hall. Hosted by the College of Engineering and NUtech Ventures, the competition features teams of one to five participants focused on solving an engineering problem. At least one participant must be from the College of Engineering, but interdisciplinary teams are encouraged.
The competition is judged based on participants’ ability to identify an important problem, formulate a value proposition related to solving that problem, estimate market size and describe their business model. Technical details will be discussed only at a very high level.
After a team has registered, it will receive a pitch deck template. The pitch deck contains several links to help guide planning, as well as an overall template that every team needs to follow when scripting their presentations.
For questions, contact Casey Lundberg, operations manager, NUtech Ventures.
