As of Oct. 1, a lapse in appropriations has triggered a partial government shutdown of non-essential federal operations. Guidance and information on how this may impact research activities in the coming days is posted on a government shutdown webpage on the Office of Research and Innovation’s website.
The Office of Sponsored Programs is closely monitoring the situation and will post updates on the webpage as they become available. Principal investigators who receive stop-work orders should forward the notice to OSP.
Guidance from other organizations also may help investigators navigate the situation.
