Research Compliance Services has updated its relevant guidance webpages to provide new information from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.

NSF issued a new Research Security website aimed at fostering transparency, disclosure and other practices that reflect the values of research integrity, and ensuring that taxpayer-funded research remains secure. Information about and a link to the new site is available on the RCS webpage “Foreign Influence and International Activities.”

In January 2023, NIH will implement its new Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy. To help researchers prepare, the agency launched a new NIH Scientific Data Sharing website, intended as a one-stop shop for information about its sharing policies, as well as other resources to guide investigators. These resources are on the Research Data and Security Guidance Topics (A-Z) webpage, under the topic “Data Sharing.”
