As collaborative opportunities with organizations like Halo Cures Inc. and others continue to grow, principal investigators are reminded to treat these engagements like any other sponsored project proposal.
Before submitting to external partners, all proposals must be routed through the Office of Sponsored Programs module in the university’s internal approval system, NuRamp, for compliance and institutional review. This ensures proper oversight, alignment with university policies and timely processing.
Internal routing is required not only for compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations, but also because all proposals are submitted on behalf of the institution, not individual researchers. OSP serves as the official institutional authority for proposal submissions and award acceptance, ensuring proposals and agreements meet legal, financial and ethical standards — protecting both the researcher and the university. For guidance on proposal routing requirements or questions about sponsored projects, please contact your OSP grants coordinator. To find your OSP contacts, please visit the contacts webpage.
