Registration is open for Business Model Canvas workshops on Feb. 10 and Feb. 24.

The deadline is 4 p.m. Feb. 6 to give participants time to do required homework before the first session.

Workshops will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. each day, and attendees must participate in both sessions. Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available, with lunch provided for in-person participants.

This program is open to all UNL faculty, staff and students. It will be especially useful as a next step for those who have completed the Nebraska-Introduction to Customer Discovery (N-ICD) program, though that’s not mandatory.

This two-part workshop will help participants create a basic business plan, using the Business Model Canvas tool as the foundation. All participants will receive a copy of the “Business Model Generation” book. Homework will be assigned before and between the two sessions. Sessions will be taught by Sam Nelson, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and associate professor of practice in the College of Business, and Brad Roth, president and executive director of NUtech Ventures and associate vice chancellor for technology development.

For more information, contact Joy Eakin, NUtech Ventures Entrepreneurship Program manager.
