Register for Oct. 6 Fulbright presentation

A program officer from the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program will host an information session on Oct. 6 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Register in advance for the session, which will take place from 10-11 a.m. at the City Campus Nebraska Union, Platte River Room South.

Aferdita Krasniqi, outreach and recruitment specialist for the Institute of International Education, will discuss award opportunities and the application and selection process. She will also answer questions from the audience.

The Fulbright Program is the United States government’s flagship international educational and cultural exchange program. The global network of Fulbright scholars fosters mutual understanding between the United States and more than 160 partner countries, advances knowledge across communities and improves lives around the globe. Each year, the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program provides about 800 grants in more than 130 countries to support teaching and research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.
