Research Compliance Services is hosting two informal Q&A sessions in October about conflicts of interest and conflicts of commitment.
The sessions will be 1-2 p.m. Oct. 4 and 3-4 p.m. Oct. 6. Participants may drop into the Zoom session at any time to ask questions; however, registration is required to obtain the link.
These events do not have a set agenda. Their aim is to give faculty, staff and students time to ask questions and learn more about conflicts of interest and commitment. Common concerns include:
- Parameters for assessing potential conflicts.
- What a conflict of commitment entails.
- How to disclose a potential conflict or other activities.
- The university’s process for handling inquiries.
For questions about the sessions, contact Ryan Thompson, conflict of interest coordinator.
