As part of the Fostering Opportunities through Collaborative University Synergies (FOCUS) informational series, the Office of Research and Innovation is offering an information session focused on the Spencer Foundation’s Large and Small Research Grants on Education programs. These grants support education research projects that develop new foundational knowledge and make lasting impacts in the field.

The event is April 21 from 11 a.m. to noon via Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Representatives from leading research and analytics firm Hanover Research will provide an overview of the Spencer Foundation’s Research Grants on Education programs and offer valuable insights into proposal strategies and best practices.

Faculty awardees will share their experiences during a panel discussion. A Q&A session will follow, allowing attendees to engage in discussions and seek guidance on proposal development.

Participants will gain expert advice, connect with peers and increase proposal competitiveness.

FOCUS is a multi-university initiative focused on enhancing competitiveness in research proposals. The partnership includes UNL, the University of Idaho, Montana State University, the University of Nevada, Reno and Utah State University.
