Launched in the fall, the PI Development Series continues Jan. 30. This virtual series, designed to support investigators at every stage of the grant process, focuses on an independent topic each month, from crafting competitive proposals to managing budgets.

Whether investigators are new to grant funding or looking to refine their approach, the sessions will offer practical tips, institutional resources and strategies to help them succeed. This webinar series is open to UNL faculty and staff.

The Jan. 30 session, noon-1 p.m., will feature representatives from UNL’s Office of Research and Innovation. Representatives from the Office of Sponsored Programs, Industry Relations, Project Management, NUtech Ventures and Research Development will discuss support available to investigators and answer questions. Speakers will remain available from 1-1:30 p.m. for additional questions. Registration is required.

The following session, set for Feb. 20 from noon-1 p.m., will feature Nicole Motzer, director of the office of research development at Montana State University, discussing team science and scholarship. Register here.

Information will soon be available for the final sessions of the spring semester, taking place March 27 and April 24
