PI Development Series continues Feb. 20 with focus on team science

The PI Development Series continues this spring with monthly virtual sessions designed to support investigators at all stages of the grant process. Each session highlights a key topic, from developing competitive proposals to managing project budgets, and provides practical guidance, institutional resources and strategies for success. The series is open to all UNL faculty and staff. 

The next session will take place Feb. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. and will feature Nicole Motzer, director of the Office of Research Development at Montana State University. Motzer will discuss team science/scholarship, offering insights on building and sustaining effective collaborative research efforts. Register here.   

The session on March 27, noon to 1 p.m., will feature Kate Carlin, pre-award team lead, UNL Office of Sponsored Programs. She will discuss strategic budgeting for proposals. Register here for the March 27 session. 

The final session of the spring semester will take place April 24, noon to 1 p.m. This session will feature Ashley Washburn, director of research communications, discussing strategies for amplifying scholarly visibility. Register here for the April 24 session.
