The Office of Sponsored Programs will transition its research administration module from NUgrant to NuRamp effective July 31. Training sessions are scheduled in July.

NuRamp is used by all campuses in the University of Nebraska system, allowing for greater collaboration and efficiency as faculty and staff throughout NU work together on grant submissions, award tracking and other functions.

Users will log into NuRamp using their True You credentials. Interfaces will function similarly to current NUgrant interfaces, with an updated look to enhance the user experience. The proposal routing process remains the same.

Training sessions will be held 3-4:30 p.m. July 13, 10-11:30 a.m. July 18, 1-2:30 p.m. July 19, 9-10:30 a.m. July 24, and 10-11:30 a.m. July 27. All sessions will be in Room 152 of the Prem S. Paul Research Center at Whittier School.

Training sessions will be hybrid, both in person and via Zoom. They will be recorded and made available online. Registration is encouraged for those attending in person and required for those attending via Zoom to obtain the meeting link.

Faculty and staff should be aware that NUgrant likely will not be available on July 30 as the transition takes place. All existing routing forms will be moved to NuRamp, including those in routing status.

Many UNL faculty and staff already have been using NuRamp as implementation is taking place in a phased approach.

The Institutional Review Board module will remain in NUgrant for the time being, with plans to transition to NuRamp at a future date.
