The Office of Sponsored Programs receives frequent questions about when proposal materials should be submitted to OSP to ensure sufficient time for review and successful submission.
To support faculty, staff and department/college/business center personnel, OSP developed an online resource with a recommended timeline, available on the OSP website.
Submitting materials earlier enables OSP to provide a thorough review and more comprehensive feedback, ensuring the highest level of support and a smooth submission process. The OSP team will prioritize proposals ready for review seven or more business days before the sponsor deadline.
All investigators and support staff are strongly encouraged to consult the timeline and plan accordingly.
