NUtech Ventures’ Startup Guide is designed to help aspiring University of Nebraska-Lincoln entrepreneurs start their entrepreneurial journey. The guide’s focus is on companies formed to commercialize innovations developed at UNL and with intellectual property owned by UNL and assigned to NUtech Ventures.

University entrepreneurs have launched many companies in the last decade based on licenses to UNL innovations, including Virtual Incision, Sentinel Fertigation, Synbiotic Health, GC Image, Turfgrade and Drone Amplified.

NUtech Ventures prepared this guide to help researchers navigate the entrepreneurship ecosystem not only within the state of Nebraska but throughout the Midwest. NUtech offers support and resources to help innovators succeed and grow at every stage in the startup process.

The Startup Guide contains a multitude of resources to provide a well-rounded and accurate perspective on the startup process. NUtech suggests exploring the Resources and References page if you have questions or are seeking additional information about content within the guide, as it contains additional links, articles, videos and other tools to help researchers understand the content discussed within the guide.

NUtech was established to promote economic development and improve quality of life for Nebraskans by helping move innovations from the lab to the marketplace.
