A May 6 Zoom workshop will give participants tools and training for conducting social media research.
The workshop, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will showcase current projects using social media research at UNL, the University of Alabama, Clemson and Louisiana State University. The workshop also will offer introductory sessions on Sprinklr, a social media analysis software available to researchers through the Public Insight Lab in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
An in-person social hour will follow the workshop at 4 p.m. at The Mill at Nebraska Innovation Campus. The workshop is free to researchers, but registration is required.
The Public Insight Lab will host the workshop with support from the UNL Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Consortium and the Methodology and Evaluation Core Facility.
Based in CoJMC, with support from the Social and Behavioral Research Consortium and in collaboration with the NU Public Policy Center, The Public Insight Lab conducts social media research with collaborators across campuses and the community to power insights that inform action, fueled by cutting edge software and the skills of our faculty, students and affiliates.
