The University of Nebraska Press wraps up its yearlong 75th anniversary celebration with the publication of its latest electronic newsletter.
The newsletter includes photographs of the Press’s 75th anniversary activities, including a summerlong cover art exhibit and a November gala with authors, friends, and press staff.
The issue features an article by John W. Evans, author of Should I Still Wish: A Memoir, who explains “Why I write,” and another by Francis French on the story behind the new book, Apollo Pilot: The Memoir of Astronaut Donn Eisele. Also featured is the Press’s newest journal, “Hotel Amerika,” a venue for both well-known and emerging writers; a new series titled Discover the Great Plains and much more.
