America’s Seed Fund Road Tour 2023 will be at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln July 20.

The event, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Howard Hawks Hall, is hosted by the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Nebraska Business Development Center. Registration is now open.

The workshop will showcase the non-dilutive technology funding opportunities available through the federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the programs provide more than $4 billion in funding for scientific excellence and technological innovation through the investment of federal research funds in small businesses.

The event will give Nebraska innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and small tech firms a chance to meet with federal program managers from 12 participating government agencies that offer funding, as well as other technology entrepreneurs and state innovation ecosystem members.
