To facilitate smooth implementation of the International Council for Harmonization’s new Good Clinical Practice requirements, the Institutional Review Board is holding a second touch-base Zoom session on Feb. 9, 11 a.m.-noon. Registration is not required.

During the session, IRB staff will be available to discuss the GCP standards or any other questions from research personnel. There is no formal agenda; researchers are encouraged to log in as they have time.

To further help researchers with the new ICH-GCP standards, IRB has created training materials focused on the new policies and procedures. They can be found on the IRB website, which also houses several training videostemplates and other information focused on GCP and a variety of other topics. The GCP guidelines are an international quality standard that helps govern institutions’ procedures for ethical aspects of some areas of human subjects research.
