Industry panel to discuss biotechnology
Industry leaders will discuss biotechnology during a presentation Oct. 22 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as part of Bioscience Week.
UNL faculty, students, staff and the public are invited to the free presentation from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Beadle Center auditorium, 1901 Vine St.
Representatives from Great Plains Biotechnology, LI-COR, Pioneer H-Bred, Materials & Machines Corporation of America and Nebiotec will discuss biotechnology opportunities, advancements and challenges and explore the future of drug development, animal health, agriculture and devices.
The panel is hosted by Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association, NUtech Ventures and UNL’s Office of Research and Economic Development in coordination with UNL’s Department of Biochemistry. Bioscience Week, Oct. 20-24, recognizes the life sciences industry and the successful partnerships between industry, academia and government that foster a growing bioscience ecosystem in Nebraska.
