The Office of Research and Innovation will offer a new workshop to assist Nebraska faculty interested in pursuing external fellowships.
The first Fellowships 101 Workshop will be held virtually, Dec. 3, 12-1 p.m. Register here to receive the Zoom link.
Fellowships 101 is designed for faculty beginning their pursuit of an external fellowship. The workshop will focus on competitive, project-based fellowships funded by organizations outside the university that support an individual to carry out a defined research, scholarly or creative project.
The workshop will feature a panel discussion with faculty who have received an external fellowship, provide an overview of external fellowship opportunities and common application components and explore the value and impact of pursuing external fellowships.
