University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty should mark their calendars to attend the Faculty Connector events hosted by the Office of Research and Innovation during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Faculty Connectors provide an opportunity for all faculty to network and socialize in a casual setting. Each event includes a brief program on a topic that is meaningful to the university community. This series is open to tenured and tenure-track faculty, research faculty and postdocs.
The semester’s first Faculty Connector is Sept. 12, 4-6 p.m., at the Lied Commons, 301 N. 12th St. Refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
During the September Connector, the Research and Innovation team will gather input from the university community about the office’s programming, including topics of interest for R&I events and suggestions for new activities that would advance the university’s research excellence, prominence and impact.
