The next session of the Office of Research and Innovation’s CAREER Club is scheduled from January to July 2026.
NSF CAREER Club is designed to support and guide early career faculty at UNL in the development of a competitive proposal to the National Science Foundation’s Faculty Early Career Development Program.
Club activities include engagement with NSF program officers, mentoring/coaching from experienced administrators and staff, access to an external consultant, one-on-one guidance on developing education/outreach plans and pre-submission expert external review.

R&I will also host an NSF CAREER Proposal workshop, a workshop to help UNL pre-tenure faculty develop successful proposals for the NSF CAREER Program on Dec. 2. Those interested in participating in the NSF CAREER Club are encouraged to attend. The workshop will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Regency Suite. Registration is required. The workshop includes a complimentary lunch.
